Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join Home-In.
This role will be critical in to creating best in class application for our customers as we continue to evolve and scale this Product. You will leverage your breadth of experience across the full stack of technologies in building a scalable digital protection product that our customers love.
Key Responsibilities
Consume a build and deployment pipeline encompassing full-stack application & AWS infrastructure deployment
Be part of designing and implementing technical solutions for functional and non-functional requirements to achieve venture objectives
Provide technical assistance to other members of the team
Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within the venture
Establish and refine technology policies and procedures to ensure operational safety
We are interested to hear from people who have experience in
5+ years of experience in Full Stack software development, ideally in a start-up environment
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS, React & React native
Experience with back-end technologies such as JavaScript/ Typescript, Nodejs and DynamoDB
Experience with cloud technology such as AWS
Someone who knows how to create well-tested and cleanly implemented code
Someone who thrives on delivering results, not fronting up to an office.
You are a team player and enjoy doing pair programming
You learn through sharing and reading thought leaders in your community
Nice to Have
Have a product-oriented mindset and be able to work closely with product managers to understand the needs of the end-users.
Passionate about fostering effective Engineering practices and processes.
DevOps Experience including CICD Pipelines, Terraform & GitHub actions
